The initiative includes concrete actions such as:
Supporting public and private organizations in the review of digital processes.
Decreasing paper consumption.
Using new technology to reduce waste and make processes more efficient.
According to data within last April’s Forum PA report “GREEN PA WORK SUSTAINABILITY PRACTICES” if each of the more than 3 million civil servants cut down their paper consumption by 500 sheets, in one year overall consumption could be reduced by 8,142 tons of paper.
Which would also mean:
Saving 122 thousand trees.
Saving over 3 and a half billion liters of water.
Reducing national energy consumption by 62 million kWh
Avoiding the emission of 19,491 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
With the #PAPERFREE campaign #MDMdocumental is launching an invitation, with the mission of saving the planet and reducing emissions into the atmosphere thanks to specific services, solutions and innovative products available to citizens, businesses and public administrations.
