The needs of this sector concern the analysis and optimization of document processes, the management of the active and passive cycle of electronic invoices, the payment schedule of invoices, work reports, water contracts, ODI and digital preservation according to legislation.

The needs of the multiutility sector have an impact on all document management flows and require an organizational analysis capable of designing customized workflows based on real business needs. Through the Organization Chart module and the Process Editor function of MDM, all IT document management processes are perfectly integrated into a governance model capable of supporting incoming and outgoing flows passing from protocol to the management of invoices, contracts and all document types used by the organization.

The flows are also organized through the use of electronic signatures, already integrated in MDM, for approval processes and

validated by individual roles according to the users who are enabled for each phase of the single flow.

An App has been developed for one of our customers that allows information to be sent to the document manager, in order to dematerialize technical interventions work reports and associate them with the employee’s serial number.

On the platform it is possible to manage in an organized and structured way all the documentation relating to the water projects managed directly on MDM.
Management is facilitated thanks to the collaboration functions and:

  • Versioning of documents
  • Check-in check-out of the document
  • Audit of activities
  • MDM also allows the integration of REST and API, SAP web services and the integration of the accounting system in the passive cycle.
  • All documents are finally sent for conservation, guaranteeing the requirements required by AgID.
